Who We Are
Amanda Borosh is a licensed special education teacher, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Assistant Professor of Special Education, and owner of The School BCBA, LLC. She has 17 years of experience in school-based settings, starting as a paraprofessional, then special education teacher, then district-wide behavior analyst in the nation’s 3rd largest school district, and now as a researcher and consultant. Amanda specializes in using evidence-based adult learning strategies to help school teams - and the BCBAs who support them - assess and address challenging behavior at all tiers. Drawing on training in implementation science and a commitment to ethical, equitable, and practical applications of applied behavior analysis in schools, she partners with schools to build sustainable systems that improve outcomes for both staff and students.
Rebecca Folkerts, PhD, BCBA-D is a former special education teacher, district-wide BCBA, and a current Adjunct Professor in Special Education with 16 years of school-based experience. She specializes in applied behavior analysis, special education law and policy, professional development, coaching, and systems-level supports. Rebecca partners with school-based BCBAs and district leaders to streamline limited behavior support resources, build effective practices, and strengthen staff capacity. She has trained thousands of educators through workshops, webinars, and consultation designed to deliver practical, high-impact strategies for supporting student behavior.
