This on-demand course is for school-based BCBAs interested in establishing, improving, and sustaining equitable behavior support systems and processes to serve school districts. In this CEU, we use the Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts to guide participants through conceptualizing a team, developing an intake process, providing assessment and implementation support, and closing cases.

Learning Objectives:

• Assess need for behavior analytic services from multiple stakeholders

• Define service model and process based on resources and scope of competence

• Use the BACB Ethics Code to guide service model development

• Obtain informed consent and service agreements from all parties

• Define roles and responsibilities

This CEU introduces school-based BCBAs to the evidence-based coaching framework, Practice-Based Coaching (PBC). PBC is a non-hierarchical, cyclical coaching process that prioritizes building trust, earning buy-in and engaging in collaboration to systematically support implementation of evidence-based practices in schools. Participants will learn the step-by-step process for using PBC with teachers, paraeducators, and other school-based providers. 

A case example will highlight the use of PBC to coach general education teachers to use Class-wide FIT, a Tier 1 group contingency.
